🥑 VOLUNTEER: We are a volunteer driven organization and are always looking to add more people to help power our work. Volunteer opportunities include: picking up food donations, packing and distributing food boxes, organizing donations, pantry clean-up, and marketing.
Our next Volunteer Training session will be held on January 16, 2027. All training sessions are from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at 6120 NE 57th Ave, Portland, OR 97218.

LOVE OUR CITY IS OPEN FOR FOOD BOX DISTRIBUTION WEEKLY ON TUESDAYS AT 11AM-12PM.
* All vehicles in line by 12pm will be served.*
Our pre-packed food boxes are offered at no cost. Boxes typically contain dry goods, bread, fresh produce, dairy, eggs, meat, and ready to eat meals (as supplies are available). We strive to provide enough fresh and healthy food to last approximately three to four days per household.
Love Our City is located at 6120 NE 57th Ave (corner of 57th/Lombard), Portland, OR, 97218. We are accessible by Trimet bus line 72.
** Vehicle access to the pantry is off of 60th and Ainsworth. See map below. Walk up distribution is also available.

Our Work
Every week, Love Our City opens its doors to neighbors facing food insecurity, providing fresh, nutritious groceries, pet food, and fresh flowers to individuals and families in need. For more than 40 years, we have served the Cully neighborhood and beyond, and today, more than 800 families rely on our pantry each month.
Our work is powered by a team of 80+ volunteers who pick up food donations from local grocery stores and partner agencies. They sort and pack it into boxes holding roughly 3-4 days of food, valued at about $150 each, and distribute them to our community.
We’re also growing beyond our walls. Through a pilot partnership with OHSU, we operate a free food market serving pregnant people and families of children being treated at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital when families need support most.
All told, we distribute 23,000 pounds of food every month. Your gift helps keep that food moving to the neighbors who need it.
